Lesson Information:
Small Group Lessons take place once per week, and rotate through the school day. Lesson Schedules are handed out to band members and TCMS faculty in the beginning of the school year.
A student's lesson will not change days. If you have a MONDAY lesson, your lesson will always be on Monday. (They do not follow our school's cycle day schedule). Lessons rotate through the school day, so that students don't have to miss the same class many times. On average, a band student will miss the same period only 4 to 5 times over the course of the entire school year!
In addition, Mr. Baldwin has "MAKE-UP" Lesson Slots throughout his schedule. If a student ever has to miss a lesson, they can do one of two things: 1) attend a lesson with another group which plays the same instrument, or 2) get a pass from Mr.Baldwin for the Make-Up Lesson slot within that week.
Lessons which are missed due to illness, etc., are excused.
